Although most of my diving is CCR, I use to dive (both wet & dry ) w/bm double 7/8th HP100 PST's and Worthington Hp100's.....I'm 6' 4" and preferred the PST's.....Even when both sets were 'cave filled' to 3800-4000, the PST's had better trim/buoyancy characteristics.....Go to Cave Diver's Forum...
It's the 'viz' more than anything you'll have to worry about.....Been low for several years now.......5-6' is considered good these days and the 'Bone yard', where most divers are taken, has been picked over......
Go over to Cave Diver's Forum....There is a recent thread/post about LP/HP tanks that clears up misconceptions/misinformation about tanks of all brands/sizes etc.....
For several years now, the 'viz' has been much lower than it used to be ( there's an on going, almost daily thread/report here on SB).....Time of year doesn't seem to matter, didn't when the 'viz' use to be better....But AM's do seem to be better......Good Luck
Under controlled conditions.....No 'death wish', enjoy life too much......especially watching my wife fall off her horse, which is hilarious !! ;-D.....
