Hi all. Did a search and found nothing. I’m a beginner diver that wants to do a dive before it goes too long in between. I’ve done Moreton island, Cook Island, Lady Musgrave and the Gold Coast Seaway. Where’s good in Melbourne where I’m residing for now? Thanks

Thanks for that. But it says they want you to have done a dive in Victoria in the last 12 months. I did find a dive off the Mornington Peninsula through Google so I guess I’ll start with that then. Seahorses will be cool.

Upon a further search on that page you linked me to I did see that they do a “get familiar with the area” kind of dive with very few people. That’s a cool idea as I’m still not that comfortable. Thanks

There's quite a lot of good shore dives around Port Phillip Bay. Brighton Beach, Rye Pier, Blairgowrie yacht club, Flinders Pier (Western Port)

I'm happy to help you out with suitable sites or if schedules line up go for a dive.

PM me if you want.

Flinders that's it!

Magnificent!

Good luck!

I suggest you also check Facebook. There are several active groups such as "Dive Buddies Social Group", " Scuba Dive Buddies Mornington Peninsula", "Scuba Dive Melbourne". Also the dive shops run clubs, such as Ocean Divers Bentleigh, Academy Of Scuba and even Adreno.
