Same as your grommet idea, but simpler: Make a bungee loop, girth hitch it through the plastic ring. Pull it over/around the bottom to secure.

If the pouch is on a belt/strap, it can’t climb up past the belt. (If not, I still don’t think it will; the bungee will tend to keep the Velcro* in place and vice versa.)

I decided to grommet it (Pic updated above) as i wanted to ensure both corners were pulled down, not the center. Your idea would likely be just as secure but I am just super paranoid of losing this thing on a dive and needing it. Need to order some grommets now.

I think the t-mobile starlink option only works in the US.
I agree with you. It's way too early in the "satellite direct to cell" (DTC) development to make a prediction on the future services. Many countries are saying starlink doesn't have approval to operate in or near them.

But now Starlink has made a HUGE purchase for spectrum from Echostar that can operate on DTC. It will be interesting to see what happens in the future. There are some HUGE mobile phone companies in each country and they are going to do everything to protect their territory and not allow starlink DTC.

It's basically a $20 billion dollar bet they are planning something that we don't know yet.

Well that large pouch wasn't doing it for me so I got the HOG large pocket. As stated, fits like a glove and I went a bit overkill and not only bungee'd the flap using grommets I went ahead and used line to secure the FOB to the pouch as well. So unless that line breaks or I somehow lose that pouch, that thing is staying with me. If that all happens, I'm having a VERY bad day. Now I just need to find the best way to secure the line that holds my items in the DRYFOB to the LID. That way nothing is ever going anywhere w/o me following it.
