rEvo on my back as primary and my bailout unit (sidemounted) is one I made myself. Nobody makes a bailout unit that comes close to what I want. What two unit combinations are you diving Don?

The new sm unit the guy from SumpUk has created looks interesting. Very little info other than his fb page thoughrEvo on my back as primary and my bailout unit (sidemounted) is one I made myself. Nobody makes a bailout unit that comes close to what I want.
Did you try the choptima, before going to your sidemount system as a BOB?rEvo on my back as primary and my bailout unit (sidemounted) is one I made myself. Nobody makes a bailout unit that comes close to what I want.
Thanks for the reaading ... what do you think the signal means? Here is some reading
pretty sure @Dsix36 's sidemount breather is going on a decade old at this point and long predates the Choptima, it's a true sidemount breather, kind of Sidekick-esque, also a choptima+bmccr is a huge profile for cave diving...Did you try the choptima, before going to your sidemount system as a BOB?
I saw a you tuber, Senor Scuba had that solution before changing the Choptima to a Go. Also a local instructor (here in Perth) also used the chop/revo setup in Bushman's Hole last year. I've contemplated having a crack at it, but am yet to feel comfortable enough with the Chop.
do you use gag straps on both units?
I did this years before the Choptima came out. I did dive the Chjoptima for several months so I know it would work as a BOB, but still not what I would want for a BOB. My BOB is 100% self contained and can also be handed off to another diver (absolutely nothing shared with my OC tank or primary unit.)Did you try the choptima, before going to your sidemount system as a BOB?

Is your BOB posted anywhere? I am interested to see pictures or more information about it.I did this years before the Choptima came out. What was your other rebreather? The chop makes a great deco rebreather and I've played with it a little bit for this purpose on cave dives.
