Question Looking for OW Dive Shop Recommendations in Fiji (Traveling in November) 🌴🐠

Hi everyone!
My partner and I are planning a trip to Fiji in November, and we’d love to get our Open Water certification while we’re there. We’re currently looking for a dive shop and would really appreciate any recommendations!
Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Friendly, patient instructors – we’re beginners, so a supportive vibe really matters
• Thoughtful service – little things like helping with tanks or gear are a big plus
• Safety-focused, professional instruction – no rushed or careless training
• We’re open to locations – considering Nadi, the Mamanuca Islands, or Taveuni, but happy to hear about other spots too!

If you’ve done your OW in Fiji or know dive shops with a great reputation, please share! Tips, personal stories, and even warnings about places to avoid are all super welcome

I can highly recommend Paradise Taveuni as a place to stay and dive. While I didn't take any classes while there, I did get to know the dive shop personnel/teachers and found them warm, personable, and knowledgeable.

Have a browse of some our scuba diving deals - they are easily converted into open water dive certifications on some of Fiji's best reefs. Personally I wouldn't recommend the Mamanuca Islands as they don't have the soft corals Fiji is famous for and it would be a shame to visit Fiji and not be blown away by the diving.
