5000 plus dives all with normal one, never a problem.

Early on in my diving I used a seacure and was pretty happy with it for several years. Once I started cave training I had to ditch the seacure on the long hose for a standard mouthpiece, so I switched over to the regular scubapro mouthpieces and I’ve been happy with those for the last 15 years or so.

Getting the best hose length makes a much bigger difference IME in terms of comfort, and general, relaxed diving technique makes a big difference. Many, many new divers bite down too hard on the mouthpiece.

That said, I recently bought some new SP mouthpieces and they’re not as good as the older ones. I don’t know why, but they changed the design a little.

Comfobite types are the best. No comparison.
+1 been using them and similar copies by other manufacturers for over 20+ years

Genuine Comfobite and lately the newer long bite Scubapro.

Comfobite... love them.

And for the rest of the family, my son hates them and my daughter loves them.

It's all very personal... find what works for you.

I've tried a lot of different ones over the years. I have a small mouth, so most are too big. I've tried the moldable, kids sizes, the one with the tongue brace, etc. I end up biting through all eventually and when diving a lot am replacing it every month or so. Finally found one that is comfortable, fits, and I don't bite through..

I have the clear version. It's lasted over 100 dives and no show of wear and tear, erh, bite.
Ok, my son has bitten through two "stock" ScubaPro mouthpieces. Maybe need to try one of these.
