I found out I had Afib, went to a cardiologist, oh and you also have a leaky heart valve. Repaired the valve, Afib went away and I was cleared to dive 3 months later.

also applied for Abrasion.. was told if you have it done twice, you no longer take the heart meds.... Its a good day...
It can take more than twice, but they are getting better and better at it over time. Good luck!

GOOD NEWS!!!! got the go ahead today from the cardiologist to dive, also applied for Abrasion.. was told if you have it done twice, you no longer take the heart meds.... Its a good day...:bounce::bounce:
I might have jumped the gun:crying:. After 2 Scuba diving medicle pro's said no, my cardioligist said yes to diving.. on a follow up question the following day his answer was that he really knows nothing about diving... SO...:banghead: But I am reading another somewhere about diving with the flutter

I came up from a dive in Laguna Beach heart was going a mile a minute after hiking the stairs to the car, ended up in the hospital had afib , got an ablation as not diving was not really an option , Ablation and a good BP med that controls rhythm and you should be good, been about ten years and I no longer need the medicine as the ablation fixed the problem
