Indeed, but I use the blister to reduce my plastic waste when possible (not that I’d be the one saving the turtles doing it) not to save a few centsJust use a regular zip tie and your problem will disappear. Replacing a zip tie at rebuild time is hardly a crushing expense.
It proves very effective when finishing a dive trip with BA/156/109, I don’t wanna cut a zip tie every time I store my regs (and the mouthpiece retains some humidity that corrode the chrome/brass lips)
For the regs that have no blister (got more regs than blisters) to use, a zip tie works more than fine
