Dave, with the NWWL-1 installed are you getting the full 130 degrees FOV? I know you have to zoom in a little as do I with my Sony but I do get a full 130 degrees from the lens. Curious how the Canon kit lens does with the WWL-1?

On the Canon R50 yes it gets 130 degrees with the Canon RF-S 18-45mm IS STM lens.
I mixed several wide shots with the less expensive and not as wide lens I was trying. You should be able to tell which were with my buddy’s Nauticam WWL-B allowing you to get super close for best detail.
The Canon R50 kit lens at 18mm showing ZERO vignetting through the WWL-B Nauticam lens. Nauticam has done the calculations spot on for the 18-45mm IS STM lens, housing port length etc. I suspect this is why they chose to have the bayonet built in and I have to say it works!
Any shading seen in the pics are more from the OrcaTorch 2000 lumen 120 degrees beam and some old guy's hasty aiming of said light source! LOL......
Strobe(s) would definitely cover the 130 degree field of view.

Any other user reports, specifically on the macro performance?
I'm considering this upgrade to pair with my WWL-1 and 2 x Inon UCL 165s, wondering how the macro performance might be with stacked UCL 165s or if I should already be budgeting in the back of my mind for a CMC-1!

Love my new NA-R50 and the WWL-1 is perfect on it. Did not get to shoot macro in Cozumel due to current. Shooting for now with dual S220 strobes, may look at the new Z335 when it releases in the fullness of time if I live long enough yet. JPEGs straight from camera, no retouch:

Thanks for sharing! Great detail in the portrait sunburst coral shot, was this taken with the lens at it's widest position?
Yes, I believe so. The WWL-1 is a very good lens combination with the kit lenses behind it. Same with my Sony. It just works very well. That was shot at f11, ISO200, 1/250. Beyond f11 is about where my little S220 strobes run out of power for that sort of shot.
