That’s…kind of everything.Anyone selling their old Sidemount setup? Would just need regs and BCD, lmk!
I have a Hollis HD 200 B do you think this would work? or do I need to get a dedicated sidemount BCD?That’s…kind of everything.
If you’re looking to make something like How To Build Your Own DIY Custom Sidemount Harness I have an XDeep Classic Wing and most (all?) the components I’d let go pretty cheaply. Otherwise, you might want to be specific as to which sm system you’re after.
Unfortunately, the Hollis HD200B is inappropriate for both sidemount and technical diving.I have a Hollis HD 200 B do you think this would work? or do I need to get a dedicated sidemount BCD?
Thanks for this!A few of us used to sidemount these

TransPac Harness - Dive Rite | Equipment for Serious Divers

Hey I appreciate all the insight and help, but Ive since realized I am too early in my diving career to get into Sidemount diving, just spent a bunch on a single tank setup, so I think i am gonna buy a steel hp80 or hp100 so I can get some more bottom time!I have a couple of sidemount BC's that I'd be willing to part with. One is a HOG SM BC and the other is a Dive Rite Nomad LTZ.
The HOG hasn't been in the water in a couple of years. I last dived the LTZ in 2023. Both are stored in my bedroom.
I also have a couple of homemade rigs. One uses a deco SM bladder with 20 lbs of lift for A80s, and I used it with LP72s. The other uses an XDeep classic wing with 40-45 lbs of lift for heavy steel cylinders.
I'm not giving any of them away but not looking to rip anyone off either.
Just an FYI, this Dive Rite BC was actually used in the Ron Howard Thai Cave Rescue movie. After shooting finished it was returned to them.
DR sent it to me as a replacement for an LT tech when the bladder developed problems that couldn't be fixed.
