Sandtiger shark over wreckage of the Hyde. There is a lot going on in this picture, and is indicative of the high degree of bio-diversity and activity that takes place on this artificial reef just offshore from Wrightsville Beach, NC. This is a great dive from mid to late summer, and in the last 2 years, the sandtigers have been incredible. The day I took this photo, there were at least 30 sharks on this wreck!
