This 2" long bluebanded goby (Lythrypnus dalli) was lurking in a small crevice in the rocks on the reef at about 30' deep off Casino Point. For once, this kind of fish had no objection to me getting up close and personal for a macro shot. Who'da thought they have teeth? Photo taken at Avalon, CA, Sep. 2004.
