This a sad reason that whilst there is plenty of variety in the oceans around kenting - what can be caught by local fishermen will be eaten. This photo taken outside a restaurant in the small Kenting town, with the variety put proudly on display by the reataurant. Not difficult to understand why sharks in local dive sites are non existent, all gone. Little (if anything !) seems to be done by local laws to protect the oceans in the national park area, albeit they are meant to be protected.
