A deeply religious mod hard deleted it. It's why we don't let them do that anymore. :D
How is underwater explosive diarrhea offensive to religion? Uff, people are weird.

I'm a mod on a different forum. The "Report" button found on every post is the answer to the question, "What should I do if I think someone is attacking me or otherwise breaking the forum's rules?"

Reported posts get placed in a queue that every mod can see. They are the first thing that gets dealt with.

The idiots here
In the future, I prefer "power mad satrap of a moderator" when referencing me.

All fun and games aside, I believe I answered your question, but you regard that opinion as a lie. I doubt there is naught else I can offer since you don't seem to think highly of my advice. To whit:
Discuss concepts and ideas, not the poster.
Realize that disagreements are not attacks.
Refrain from casting aspersions at those you disagree with.
People with the same interests will probably be posting in the same threads as opposed to following you.
They might think you're following them!
Please report any harassing posts by them.
Don't complain if you haven't reported them.
Please stay on the effing topic!
Report OT or other problematic posts rather than respond to them.
Posts about other posters' motives or natal origins are not germane and may be deleted.
Discussions about moderations belong only in Site Support!

You missed:
  • Be a good citizen of the board. We will all get more out of the board in the long run.

I aspire to be a power mad satrap of a moderator.

Alas, I shall be no more or less than an adviser.

The last man standing I believe.

Amen, bro, amen. With apologies to Bobby McFerrin and all who enjoyed his iconic song...

Here's a little song I wrote
You might want to sing it note for note...
Don't worry!
Post happy!

I wasn't talking about you. I've hardly ever seen you post in any thread other than here and in the accident thread.

BS. When people keep asking me to essentially give them my scuba CV over and over again and not even remotely talk on topic, they are not there because they have the same interest.

Why do I have to say where live when the thread is about how much weight an OW student needs?

I've been a volunteer managing other volunteers. On rare occasions, an individual would join the organization and complain, argue and insult other people in the group pushing some personal agenda or whatever. It was best for my sanity and others to not waste my energy and volunteer time dealing with the person. I would just tell them up front why I was dropping them from the organization...and drop them. Scubaboard mods are volunteers and don't deserve the time consuming drama.
