Sold! 2 x Scubapro Mk11T titanium 1st stages

Hi all, these cost me an arm-and-a-leg and were hard to find (only with help from Buddhasummer). I am happy with my sealed T1 and won't get to use these much, so they are offered for sale. However, if no takers at this price I'll keep them in case I need them later.

I think this is the most amazing 1st stage Scubapro has made, with impressive workmanship.

Ok, now please make sure you are sitting, and please don't laugh at me, but just the Ti DIN conversion kits cost $300+ each. Yup, no typo... Add $380 as a fair price for a Mk11T, and we are at $680 per combo (one Mk11T with both DIN and Yoke kit). As you'll understand I can't just sell the yoke without the DIN, or vice versa. In fact I'd kick myself if I only sold one reg and then no longer have a set for my twin tanks. Truth be told I'll kick myself for selling these no matter what, at some point.

Condition is like new, hardly any use after service. One Mk11T decal has a slight blemish, but I include a Mk11 decal just in case. I can ship in DIN or yoke configuration. The Din kits are unused.

I'd already be selling at a loss, so buyer pays fees if commercial PayPal is used.

Stiil smarting from the (fair, but - Ouch) buy-in for the first two. I travel with a spare, so having the 3rd would shave a few more ounces compared to my standard Mk11 backup. I wish they had made Mk17Ts for that fully-sealed peace-of-mind feeling.

It's funny. On the Coz Invasion I was running independent doubles. Mk11Ts for 1sts, and a reversable HOG Zenith (my only available left-feed) and a Rob-tuned D400 for 2nds. It may have been all the shiny-things distraction or just my unsophisticated palate, but while I could notice the difference, "better" was a more nebulous concept. I'll still look for that reasonable D420 to pick up in a trade, but not sure if I can justify the $$ for the SP "standard" format 2nds compared to my HOGs - fun to try if I can arrange a temporary swap some time, though.

Agree, differences in balanced second stages are mostly about subtle differences in breathing characteristics as opposed to performance jumps. Other than a D400 I've never noticed any other second stage I've owned to be "higher" performing than another.
