According to this, COVID-19 Information we don’t need to stay 3 days in CHSE-certified hotel, only while waiting the results of our arrival PCR test, which could be a night, is that correct?
Yes. I’ve seen several reports on FB Bali Covid group, where people that have already arrived in Bali is saying immigration check only you have a hotel for the first night - others report they were asked specifically for a 1 night reservation at a CHSE-hotel.
You’re tested on arrival, but the “day 3 test” is gone.
They also report it takes 2-3 hours to get the results of the PCR.

Actually, the SE no. 15 2022 does not require the traveler to book CHSE hotel.
The google translate of related clause:

after RT-PCR sampling on arrival, PPLN continue with:
i. inspection of immigration documents and customs documents;
ii. baggage collection and baggage disinfection;
iii. pick up and drop off directly to hotel, accommodation, lodging, or residence;
iv. waiting for the results of the RT-PCR examination in hotel rooms, lodging accommodation, or place of residence; and
v. not allowed to leave the hotel room, lodging accommodation, or place of residence and not allowed to interact with other people before the results of the RT-PCR examination showed negative results.

I know. But still people arriving these days are asked for proof of CHEE hotel booking. (And forced to make a booking if they don’t have one). Others are fine with any hotel booking.

@diveUAE is correct. My friend just arrived today as I am writing this and she had to show proof of booking and payment for 1 night at a CHSE hotel to customs. Also I have another friend that arrived 4 days ago and he had to do the same.

What both my friends did was make bookings at a super low cost couple $/night hole in the wall hotel on the CHSE list just to have the paperwork but actually just stayed in there villas. As far as I can tell the rules do not actually stipulate you need to stay in the CHSE hotel as @Wisnu has pointed out. All immigration is asking for is proof of booking and payment. Its more of a tourist money making scheme/deal with the CHSE approved hotels.

I am flying in 5 days and am holding off for now on the hotel booking hoping it changes soon but if not I will just do the same.
