Hi everyone from Maryland (Chesapeake Bay - beautiful, but you wouldn't want to dive there!). Just got wet again last year after a hiatus while raising kids. I'm never far from the water though as a marine biologist but most time spent in the lab or office. Got back into diving in Turks and Caicos this year and have 2 more trips planned (St Lucia and maybe Dominican Republic).

Welcome. I hope you'll post trip reports; St. Lucia is a destination we don't see many reports from (I got in 2 dives there on a cruise ship stop), and not many on Dominican Republic, either. Turks & Caicos was cool when I did it via live-aboard; I imagine you had a good time there.

Fish biologist or something else?

Welcome... there's oyster diving as @TravisD said (although I haven't been yet) and NJ wreck diving, which is fun if you enjoy that (I do).
