Working on a SI calculation on my RDPml calculator on the PADI website give me an SI of 0:00. But I get an SI on the chart of :49 mins.

Looking for sanity check or clarity.

Dive 1 40ft for 45 mins
Dive 2 35ft for 30 mins

What is the minimum SI between dives?

I show coming out of water dive 1 as PG K and then PG X for first time that = > than 30 mins at 35ft.

Bisect X and K I get 49min Minimum SI??

Minimum SI for what? I haven't touched the tables in forever but I think you get >30 minutes NDL for dive 2 after 00:00..00:05 SI, i.e. the calculator is correct. Or are you trying to land in a specific pressure group after dive 2?

The way I read the tables is that you could do these two dives without any surface interval in between.
Pressure group K allows a dive for up to 148 minutes at 35 feet.
I think.

You need to set the eRDPml MODE for Surface Interval, and just punch in your numbers.

Minimum SI is 0. After the first dive you are in K. At k for a 35 ft dive you have a max bottom time of 148 min.

after 40 ft for 45 minutes you are in pressure group k
Moving to the back of the RDP you see that for 35 ft, pressure group k has a max bottom time of 148 minutes. So you are able to do the second dive immediately.

Using the ERDPM, you first select units (after muting the damn thing) as imperial, then select mode "surface interval", enter the dive data (first dive yes, dive depth, acknowledge NDL, input time, input second dive depth and time) and the "min SI" will show "00H:00M" indicating no surface interval required.

OK thanks, that explains the "0" I was expecting 45 mins

You read Side 2 incorrectly. You looked at 35 ft and found 37 min at PG X; but that means *if* you were in PG X after dive 1 then you only had 37 mins available for a dive to 35 ft. You should have gone over to the PG K column to find that you had 148 mins available for a dive to 35 ft.
As it turns out, to dive to 35 ft for 30 mins, you could be in ANY pressure group except Y or Z.
