Good morning, All.
I will be moving from Texas to Alamogordo, NM. Not much diving in that vicinity that I can see. Anyone know of New Mexico dive groups on here or social media that I can reach out.
Thank you for your time.
Matt

My daughter's family lives in Alamogordo. My granddaughter is having here open water check out dive at Bottomless Lakes State Park on 7/14. Not sure of the dive shop. I'll let you know when they reply to my text. The LDS in Las Cruces didn't return their phone calls. They may have bitten the Covid dust.

You're always welcome to join us (check the link below and see the calendar)... We always have someone looking for a buddy, or a DM candidate who'll dive with you.

Welcome to ScubaBoard! You're planning ahead for future diving, I like it!

You can find more information in this forum: Rocky Mountain Region

The Blue Hole is your best choice. If you are looking for more advanced diving, you will want to look into going to Rock Lake, which is also in Santa Rosa.

Welcome to New Mexico bottomless lakes or Santa Rosa are a couple good spots for fun/training diving. The dive shop here in Las cruces has closed their retail space and is operating out of their houses since Covid happened. Last I spoke to Kelly they were planning on a reorg and to reopen "after covid" I haven't heard of any progress on their end.

The other dive shop is 5 star divers west side of El paso.

Welcome from another relative newbie. Yep, I hear good things about Blue Hole in Santa Rosa. Chatting with the LDS in Lubbock when visiting family, I learned that they do their OW checkout dives there.
