I bought my son a Zoop and had to do a battery change. Bought the official kit and did the battery change. About 5 dives later the Zoop reset itself during a dive, bit concerning. I reset the history on the D5 app and it has got progressively worse since then. On a 40 min dive the computer will reset itself up to 4 times lately. Seems like it's reseing to factory default as it throw the date and time settings back to 2000-01-01
I may add that I've bought 2 battery kits off Amazon and found that the battery thickness does differ a little. This is the same for all new CR2450 batteries I've come across lately.

Any advice on what the cause may be?

Clean the contacts and put a new, non ebay battery in it (just so you know it’s fresher) a little rubbing alcohol on a course material is good for cleaning the contacts

Contact Suunto tech support. Sounds like a bad chip.

Lex, which coarse material? Take a page out of the OWSI or Rescue manual? Which is more “course”? :yeahbaby:

I think tax code but rescue is also good, or just corse cloth.

Of coarse!

Was turkey your second coarse?
Of course unless mashed potatoes and gravy count as two than it would be third in a coarse estimation.
