I’ve looked over that one before. It doesn’t seem too difficult but I didn’t want to mess with the fragile plastic orifice. I’ll have Rob make a conversion to a metal orifice so it can perform to it’s full potential.Not sure if you have this repair guide, but if you follow you should be fine.
I would keep it original, I have a 20 year old Scubapro BA with a plastic office and it works great.I’ve looked over that one before. That’s just it, the D400 was originally designed with a metal orifice and later “upgraded” to plastic which actually decreased performance in this particular model.I would keep it original, I have a 20 year old Scubapro BA with a plastic office and it works great.
