Okay, I had a couple of things to work out before we confirmed our rescheduled trip to AK for next year, but we are now set for the week of April 24-May 1. If any other Scubaboarders would like to join us, we'll have an impromptu invasion of sorts, I suppose. They are still honoring the 2 for 1 deal. Of course, this won't be an "official" invasion unless Dennis and Roxanne want to see about putting something together for that week.:wink:

I'll have to check with the college schedule for Karen. I'm sure Lilyan and I could make it just about any time

Drats! We are going in August 2020. Nice and toasty warm at CocoView.

Hi Dizzi,

Cathy and I will probably go summer 2021. We are already booked for Curacao December 2020. Can't go then. Easter 2021 maybe.

Keep us posted if you don't go this summer. We like company.

You can always load-up right now and join us in Key Largo. PM me if this is feasible.

cheers,

From the department of Government Operational Irony:

I had planned to go to Roatan June 6-20 (SB invasion). Roatan requires Passport have 3 months validity.

My PP was going to expire Aug 20. So on Mar 5 I sent it to State Dept for renewal. Well ahead of time for my June trip to Roatan. At the time they promised 6-8 week processing.

State dept did not process my renewal in time But the Roatan trip was cancelled so no harm done yet.

Now I have the opportunity to go on a live-aboard dive boat in July that enters the Bahamas. Bahamas do not require the +3 months so my old PP would still be fine if I had it.

But I don't have my old PP because I planned ahead. If I had delayed 2 weeks the state dept would have already stopped processing and I would not have sent it in.

Just out of curiosity, any plans in the works to hit Roatan up as a group for 2021? My credit for AKR is good til Dec 2021
