Another windy day

Can't believe the Docked Ship's lines didn't snap. I need some of that line for my dive reel !!

It's hard to believe that these things continue to happen. Do people not even think about the results of their actions? When will people learn to turn their phone sideways to shoot video? :(
 
Two Carnival cruise ships just collided in Cozumel, Mexico - CNN

Report of one injury that I've seen so far. Interesting that wind and current are being blamed; I've dealt with two cruise ship incidents where winds were a factor. In one of those cases the weather reports showed the cruise ship was taking ~30-knot gusts on the beam as it was trying to leave dock in a tight anchorage. One would think the smart move would be to wait until things died down, but heaven forbid the tourists miss their port call.
