Dan, Luko,

Thanks, gents. Your photos are outstanding. Thanks for sharing.

Other than your feedback on this thread and other threads, I notice a lot of people preferring Bangka over Bunaken.
I am now considering changing my itinerary with Murex to directly heading to Bangka, then Lembeh.

This is the right choice to my mind and I am not a photographer.

Oh, Sahaung, I miss you so.

Not bad, then If me, I'll go with 2, 3 and 4days respectively.
Note that I've visited Bunaken 4x, Bangka 2x and lembeh 8x.

I've visited Bunaken x2 and the second time was under duress.

Bangka x3, and 2nd time, I stayed for 3 weeks, 3rd time for 9 days, iirc before moving on to Lembeh.

Lembeh x2 and again, not exactly under duress but because my buddy wanted to go there. Staying at the Lembeh Resort was a delightful treat after the slightly lesser land experience at Murex Bangka.

Oh, Sahaung, I miss you so

Guys n gals,

Do you reckon I'll need anything thicker than a full body rash guard?

I've dived to 25c / 75f on my tag rash guard and have been ok.

What are temps like?

I read 25 to 28 but people still recommend 3mm suits?

3nm for 27c? Wow

Whenever I do 3 dives per day, I will keep my 5mm all the time.
I add a sharkskin under when it drops to less than 25C, I never got too warm except in Papua New Guinea where the temp was 30 -31C

I always wear a full 3mm and have a chillguard, as well as a Sharkskin, to help keep me warm if it comes to that. I always have a beanie type hood. At Lembeh, I could definitely have enjoyed my 5mm.

It's always better to have and not need than need and not have.

That would be overkill for me.
