Sometimes you can find a tank valve that has a port for an SPG. I'll see if I can find a picture.

Thanks for the info guys, I'll keep reading. It looks like allot of fun playing with these. Actually diving the regs from the beginning of sport Diving will be a really neat experience.

Where are you at in Flurda?

Good advice already given.
Beware, the vintage bug can bite hard.
3 dhs sets, triples, doubles etc in 2 yrs.
If you go full vintage ( no bc) you will find your skills will be improved.

Careful.... I dipped my toe with a Kraken, and now have 5 various configurations of Aquamasters with VDH upgrades, and the daughter just got one after trying mine in the pool.

Thanks, I have gotten some tools from you before for working on my MK 10's. And I still have most of the pipe wrenches and hammers I need.

I randomly bought a DH reg on Craig’s list (cheap)...researched who could rebuild/service... found Vintage Double Hose, sent it to VDH for service and upgrade, got hooked, now I want a Kraken. The guys at VDH are top-shelf. I am slowly learning and progressing (regressing?). My biggest hangup is not having the time to meet up with and learn from those with all the knowledge and experience.

Congrats on your new/old reg! With the Phoenix conversion and (I assume) a new HPR 2nd stage you have a fantastic breathing reg. Make sure the back plate is as high as possible so that the reg sits as low as possible so it sits between your shoulder blades for easiest breathing. M
