Nice camera. I have one and have had it out for a half dozen dives so far.

Is that seriously just the camera? No filter? As you're first going into the cave there is so much light but I didn't see signs that you turned on a dive light yet.

And then I had to stop watching and skip forward because I was getting a bit anxious watching you crawl through those tight spaces

In that dive both by dive buddy and I had paralenz cameras. We tried several settings. Having the auto filter setting off gave us the best results inside this cave. If you watch the clip again you will see one short section that's very red. That's what having the auto filter on with cave lights produced. It was a cool effect and I got some nice screen grabs, but not great for diving footage.

I like the depth on the screen. Temp is not all that important for diving I do. It would be better to have run time, or actual time as an option.

I have one. Just did 11 dives in Grenada. Great ease of use. I need some more practice holding it steady and moving it slowly for video. I didn't use the mask mount or do extended video. Just snaps. The vis on quite a few dives wasn't great but overall I was happy with a lot of the pictures and videos. See if you can find the slipper lobster in the one picture. He was hard to spot. Color correct was off for the 2 sculpture park pictures. It was set to auto. The Anina wreck pics were at 100 feet with not great vis but still cool.

I bought one, sent it back for a full refund after a week of use.

Wasn't too impressed with 4k but in general the quality was OK, the device/software though was horrendous, constantly crashing or not turning off, nothing you can do about it in the water, the video files were all split into 10 second chunks on 1 occasion so no use. In all a poor experience.

I think i'll give it a year or 2 and try again, I think they could make it work but I am not paying full retail ~£650 GBP to be a beta tester for them, absolute joke releasing something that full of bugs.

There is a firmware update that fixes these issues.

Yes, they are working out the bugs. The latest firmware update has fixed a lot of reported issues.

I still can't get the camera and phone to connect, but it's really not an issue because I see little reason to have that feature.

It's night and day better than a GoPro for diving.

One thing should be pointed out, customer service is fantastic.

Here's some dives from Saturday.

Spearfishing 35 Miles off Hernando Beach, Florida | Paralenz Dive Camera

I accidentally exported this video in 1080p. Quality is much better as I shot it in 2.7k 60fps.
