Take a look also at Sibonne. Not for everyone but we loved it. Small and right on the beach. Very affordable The restaurant is very good and you can walk to the Sands to sample their restaurants as well. The access to the beach from any room at Sibonne is just steps away. Dive Provo will pick up your husband at Sibonne for his diving. If you like big American style resorts this is not the place for you. If you want small intimate no crowd quiet setting at a reasonable rate take a look. I think rooms are around $150/nite.

My wife and I stayed at West Bay Club a year ago. We will be returning there this fall. My wife is not a beach person, but absolutely loved WBC. The rate usually includes breakfast, but I wouldn't bother with any other meals at their restaurant. The ocean side units come with a full kitchen. Plus, there are plenty of good restaurants on the island (try Bugaloo's - great food and a wonderful view). Look at AquaTCI for a dive op. Very competent, but they don't dive on the weekends (silly to me, but maybe that's when most people arrive/leave - just not me).
Thank you - West Bay Club looks very nice. Is there snorkeling off of their beach ?

It's about a 50 yard walk down the beach to a small reef. I saw a stingray swimming by the resort. Frankly, it's just wonderful being in the water, reef or not.

I was a little mistaken about AquaTCI. They don't dive on Saturdays. I guess a lot of people come and go on Saturdays and Sundays, so diving on Saturday is out for them. We will be visiting for a short visit, Thursday to Monday. I need to find someone to take me out on Saturday morning.

I am looking at West Bay Club one bedroom suite oceanfront. Do you know what the difference is between the one bedroom suite oceanfront and the 1 bedroom luxury suite oceanfront and are you familiar with those rooms ? Thanks for your help.

For specific information about resorts, you might have better luck searching and posting on the tripadvisor forum and you can also read specific reviews about the resorts you are looking at, see the links below.

I've only stayed there once. The place we rented could have been a two bedroom, with the second bedroom locked off and looking towards the pool. I the immediate difference shown on the description is 300 square ft. I think the difference is that you get more of a dining area. You may want to contact the hotel about floor level. I am hoping we will be on a higher floor given the latest events in T&C.

Not trying to hijack but I'm pretty sure the majority of dive ops on Provo don't dive on Saturdays.

You could be correct, but I think Dive Provo dives on Saturdays.
