Once in a while I may notice a stage on my side. I just move some air around in the wing to make it lopsided and opposite of what I'm feeling with the stage.... Provided you are horizontal and not vertical ...

I keep 2 to 4 pounds on a belt which I can slide left or right to control any roll.
this might be a good start you could get a belt that you could slide the weight left or right once you've got the hang of it you could then reduce the weight until your happy

Don't remove any weight, shift 1-2lbs from your left weight pocket to the right pocket.

I was able to take 4 total lbs off today. I'm now familiar enough with diving the pony that it gave me no issues. Don't really feel lopsided anymore. Even did a giant stride with it, and everything was fine. :D

Trim is a work in progress. But today was dives 35 and 36, so I'll get there...just a matter of when. 91F today at the quarry. I'll be very glad when the water temps warm up so I can christen my new 3mm! Water temps today were 60 on the shallow side and 46 on the deep side (50 ft).

Are you using your drysuit or your BC for bouyancy? Personally I like using my BC for buoyancy and my suit with just enough air to keep off a lot of squeeze. I find that i feel more stable and am using less weight because I do not have a big bubble moving around in the suit.

I never use my drysuit for buoyancy. Period. That's what the wing is for. I don't know what PADI teaches, but SDI teaches BC for buoyancy.

Always found what you said interesting. I too when learning wanted to do it the "proper way" only enough air in the suit to take the pinch off and then use the wing. However my instructor told me "if you're weight properly you shouldn't need to put any air in your wing, enough air taking the pinch off should be sufficient". Gotta say, he's right.

. I don't have to put any air in my wing and only enough air not to squash my manhood in the suit. Annoying that, but guess it's the lowest part of my body when swimming around...........

Nope he's not. Now your suit volume has to vary by around 3liters between the beginning and the end of the dive. It's also not scalable, try that with a large twinset and a few decos, it's gonna feel very funny.
