Very true Marg, some folks just wear them because they do not feel the rules apply to them. Usually due to the Op/DM not having the cajones to tell a diver to take them off for fear of risking business/tip.
I gladly will fill in and let them know - no gloves - if the DM doesn't or won't. Have done it once or twice when I dove with Papa Hogs (DM wouldnt say anything - not owners lol - M&M would go bananas). Dove with Blue XTSea this year and Pedro was VERY clear about the gloves/knife rule which I thought was great. That boy doesn't put up with anything hehe!
So what? Many laws are like that.Stupid rule that punishes everyone because a few people do bad things.
