Great write up that's the exact experience I'm looking for like you I'm tore between the mezican and florida styles I don't like the rigs that the florida sytle offers like you I prefer the "mexican" style only thing I'm having trouble on is the post I've read the stealth not working well with a drysuit and steel which that's what ill dive locally but during travel 99% of my travels the tanks are al80s which I don't think the US rigs look good with

I wrote the article right after taking the course, and since then have much more experience in the configuration and have dove it both wet (AL80's) and dry (LP85's) with no problems. It will take some sessions diving dry with steels to get it dialed in but asides from that no issues. I would consider getting 2 harnesses if you will be diving it both wet and dry, that way you won't have to do any adjusting, just pick the appropriate one and go. Of course if you do need to adjust it the Stealth is pretty easy and straight forward to adjust. I found it much easier to use in that regard over the Razor. And if you have any doubts as to diving it dry, wait till you take the course with Patrick because I guarantee he will diving dry.

Good deal which do you perfer in lp steel worthington or faber I have a set of faber lp95 but was wanting a set of 85 i prefer lp tank since I have my own compressor and "make em scream"

You'll like the Fabers. They're less negative than the Worthintons. I like to have the weight in the centre of my body, rather than out at the sides like outriggers. I'm just more maneuverable that way. I have 85s and 95s . I love the 85s! I feel prett sleek in them. They don't feel all that different than my al80s, but I only top them off to 3000psi.

I know everyone says they get tail light empty and they may do it but I've never noticed single tank back mount

Well fabers are def easier to find used

Getting my tanks setup would I be better off to buy a used manifold and plug the ends where the isolator goes

Spoke to patrick today he is going to Europe in july any other recommend people at that shop or other of his caliber

They're all pretty good. Nando has been around the longest and is also a safety officer for the region. Rob Bartlett is a war vet and we got a great tip about setting up the Stealth with Drysuit and steels from him. Kim Davidsson is a fantastic instructor, but he's in their Tulum shop. Mauro Bordignon contracts with them and he's an extreme explorer with the Stealth. If Alvaro is still around, he's another good option.
I've had students taught by all these instructors and they've all had good things to say. They all have the same curriculum with slight nuances.
