Thanks for information. In their booking form, theree are only time could choose is 9am, 1pm, 3pm. No, 4pm for selection. Hot water shower is very important for me, even it is very hot weather :)
Is that a lots dive shop in that this bay? Except PIR, any other resort near to this dive shop?

PIR has a small dive shop. There is one in the next bay I forget the name of. Turtle Bay Divers is next to Watercolours.

FYI. Turtles feed off of the PIR beach. There is a large seagrass area, great for a snorkel.

My wife and I stayed at Coral View Resort in July 2012 and really enjoyed the quality (including hot showers) for their price (not the cheapest, not the most expensive). The small island is more for the backpacker crowd while the big island is more for families and people who like quiet nights.
I would definitely recommend booking in advance since July and August will be very busy times on Perhentian island.

FYI, I just started working as a scuba instructor at Pro Diver's World which is the dive center of Coral View Resort, feel free to pm me for any info.

Thank you for this details, it really helpful. I have contacted both PIR and Coral View, seems there are no room available during the time we need. I still waiting for them to give me final confirmation. By the way, do you know anything about arena arwana perhentian eco resort? Is this resort provide good dive trip?

I am still try to contact those two resort. If I able to get a room there, I will PM you regarding dive information. Can't wait to go dive again. It has been a year since my last dive.

The manager of Pro Diver's World told me today that indeed rooms are getting increasingly harder to find on the island for July and August so hopefully you'll be able to find one!

Thanks. If I still not able to get one this week, I may try other resorts.

Sorry, I don't know that resort. From the stories I heard today from guests about Perhentian Island Resort it seems that the quality/cleanliness of their rooms is rather disappointing when considering their prices.
Btw, are you planning to just do some fun dives or also thinking of taking a course?

Thanks for the info. I still waiting for travel agent get back to me regarding the availability.
We are looking for fun dive, both of us are certified diver. If possible we would like to have at least 5 dives in 3days.

Apologies for the slow response, internet connection on a tropical island can be challenging. :D
We usually do fun boat dives at 9am, noon and 3pm so that's no problem.

Try Tuna Bay. good accommodation, don't go full board, Abdul's has very good sea food just down the beach.
My experience the dive operation will send a boat to collect you where ever you stay.
Eid is 1st week of August so from then on will be very busy as everyone parties post fasting. Boo as soon as possible.
Bubbles might be an option, we enjoyed it but it is slightly cut off from the mainstream.
Wish you all the best and update us on your trip.

Stay at mama's chalet. Cheap and nice and right next to turtle bay divers, watercolor, and around the corner from tuna bay etc etc
