Me and my husband are planning to go diving in Perhentian Island in coming August. It is our anniversary trip, so we are looking a bit better accomodation. I have never been to this island before, any suggestion are appreciated.

Thanks
Chriaty

Can't rem but there's tons of dive centers there on that beach coral bay and long beach which is near. Perhentian is not user friendly for online booking etc but Shari la I think can. A lot f people just show up at the island and find rooms

Watercolours dive centre (Watercolours| Dive Center Malaysia)

Max 4 per dive. You don't have to set your kit up (unless it's your own) and a pancake after the dive! (I'm basing all this on when I worked there quite a few years ago though!)

Dives to do:

Sugar Wreck
Tokong Laut
Terumbu Tiga
Secret Wreck (although more dive centres know about it, so not so secret these days)

Have a look this dive centre and what they offer. Sound very interested, especially the package.
The accomodation seems quite old and budget.
Do you know how far to walk to this dive centre if we stay in perhentian island resort?

I do some research, August is super peak season, they advise book 2 months in advance.
We will only stay there for 2 night, so wish to dive as much as we could. So really don't want to waste the time to search the dive trip when we arrived. So hope to get everything sort out before we go :)
thank you.

It's about 10-15 mins walk from PIR to Watercolors, they are one bay over.

Just got reply from watercolors dive resort, their accomodation doesn't have hot shower water. I can't survive without it :(
may thinking to stay in PIR, then walk to watercolours.
Are they two dives in one one boat trip? Or just one dive per boat trip?

Single dives, the boat goes out 4 times a day. So you can do a morning dive, then chill for hours, then hop on at 4 for the last dive.

The cold water thing never bothered me. Very refreshing in the humidity.

Thanks for information. In their booking form, theree are only time could choose is 9am, 1pm, 3pm. No, 4pm for selection. Hot water shower is very important for me, even it is very hot weather :)
Is that a lots dive shop in that this bay? Except PIR, any other resort near to this dive shop?
