It's sort of fun to see what photographers whose work I follow, like Gilligan and Max, have chosen as their three. We all see our work differently!

I wouldn't want the job of choosing just three photographs from those two guys!

This guy was the small one of a pair - about an inch and a half long free swimming from the sand to the top of a log.

It's funny, because I won the November Shootout in the LAUPS with an octopus photo that I didn't really like very much. I thought it was slightly out of focus and somewhat boring. I guess the voters there really like octopus.

Max, I LOVE that octopus! There's just such a wonderful sense of motion in the picture. I still think I've seen some of yours that I like even better, though. The problem with trying to pick 3 best of your pictures is that there are so many amazing ones!
