Thanks for the amazing photos. I can't wait to read your trip report :blinking:

The original message says Canon 7D and lists the lenses used. The 7D is a 1.6 crop body so lenses act like they are 60% longer. It has roughly 18 megapixels and an excellent AF system.

And those are why I just enjoy other people's picture of what I remember in my mind instead of trying to take pic of my own! Some GoPro maybe, but photographs like these are truly art!

I like the close up creature work, but what you REALLY capture IMHO is the grandeur and color spectrum of the massive coral/sponge heads. I so seldom see shots of the huge stuff in Cozumel that really communicate what it looks like when you're there. I will be directing lots of people to these photos!!

Thanks so much for sharing!

Thanks for all the positive comments.
Tunaman, you are spot on about the wide angle opportunities at Coz.
It might be one of the better places in the Caribbean for this type of photography.

LOVE the little octopus! Was he in front of the hotel? And great shots of the frogfish. We haven't seen him in a couple of weeks; hoping he hasn't moved on...

I thought you promised me a shore dive with frogfish next week?
