Hello, all.

I am relatively new to diving (and brand new to this site) and am looking for dive log software to use with my Oceanic Geo 2.0 dive computer. I've tried Oceanic's OceanLog and DivePal, but both feel like they were designed in about 1987 and are not easy to use. Ideally, I'd like a program that I can use to manually enter the dives I did before I got a dive computer, as well as upload the dives via the USB cable for the computer. Major plus if there is also an iPhone/iPad app. It doesn't have to be free. I want something that is easy to use and will help me track my dives.

I'm sure there are probably lots of threads on this, but I searched and all the hits were several years old. Since software changes a lot, I'm sure things have changed since 2007!

Thanks in advance to any tips.

Emily

I like dive log 5.0. PC and app. I write logs in the iPad while on vacation and sync with info from dive computer when I return home.

Unless you're using a Mac, then MacDive is great, but I've switched over to DiveLog DT due to compatibility with my new Uwatec computer.

+2 (or is it 3?) MacDive.... (with Dive Log on iPad and iPhone)

I like Diveboard : Your online scuba logbook. Track, share and explore scuba diving through community dive logs - I find it well-designed and easy to use, and it also has an iPhone app so I can log dives back at my car before I leave the dive site. You can manually enter profiles, and I believe you can also upload your dive computer profiles to it. I also like that you can easily export the log to PDF or a couple other file formats, so you can keep a backup copy of your log on your local computer in case the site disappears one day. It's not that great a logging species (IMO at least) unless you are very good at knowing exactly what you've seen.
