Unfortunately I don't have an office photo to share today, but I did have the distinct pleasure of having Gordon Gunn and his lovely wife on my boat this morning.

What's the water temp today?
It seems a little weird at the moment. Yesterday at Palancar the vis was terrible, and there were vertical thermoclines. Obviously colder water had been brought up from deep (maybe due to the wind?) and we passed through several cold patches. Today at Palancar Gardens the vis was excellent again, but it was definitely a little chilly at around 60 ft. Noticed it get warmer as we passed up through 40 ft. Also, remember that I am a bit of a weenie when it comes to the cold. But normally I don't feel any difference from top to bottom.

When I started this thread I mentioned that I was hoping to get accepted into the Course Director training course this summer, and this was a way for people to follow my journey if they wish. Well, today was a big day in the journey. I got a call from my friend and regional manager at PADI to tell me that my application has been accepted. I will be going to the Dominican Republic in July to be part of the course, and become a PADI course director. Stay tuned, this is where it starts to get interesting :)
