I have an ELPH 300HS with the Canon housing. I use no lights and turn off the on board flash. I manually white balance off of white sand or coral (or occasionally a slate) obsessively.
The only pic that I re-balanced after shooting is the eagle ray - it was quite blue because I had stowed the camera due to nearly dead batt and I had to drop down to get close.

I've been using a Canon s100 with FIX housing and Sea & Sea YS-01 strobe and Sola Video light. It's a nice set up too. I forgo white balance and shoot in RAW, which has been working.
Back to Coz in July. Counting the days!!
