Well, all they did was a blood test and there was "something" they said was a local bug. Looked at the lab results: proteus 0x-19. Whatever that is.

I did a little googling, and apparently you were bitten by some sort of bug, have/had "rickettsia" or something similar and should see a doctor when you get home.

flots.

I wonder what the numbers would be on people who get sick from the all inclusive alcoholic drinks?:drunks:

Thanks but I was already treated for it when I was in Mexico. Antibiotics, I think.

MMM - I knew I'd heard of that before.... This is an interesting story about the little bugger:

Lactobacillus acidophilus

Back to topic - I'm looking for inexpensive places that serve apps if you order drinks? I know there is a name for them, please school me!

Blue Angel has 2 for 1 drinks and 1/2 price apps during happy hour with one of the best views on the island.

I got this spelling wrong once before but they are botanos or botanas or something very close to that. The fisherman's co-op next to the cemetery does these...the more beer you order the more food you get. Another place is the tweety bird place on 15 and about 5 or so but it was closed for most the the time I was in Coz this winter. New ownership or something.
