Dive Operations in Trinidad

I am travelling to Port of Spain, Trinidad on the 22nd for a week to perform work at Piarco International Airport and may have a day or two to myslef and would like to get some diving in. Can anyone recommend a dive operation in Trinidad that I can use? I looked on the web and could find nothing. Failing that, what about a day trip to Tobago? What would be the best way to get there and back as well as to a recommended dive operation? I will have a rental car for transportation. Please advise!

Here's one in Trinidad - read their FAQ - it appears the diving there isn't that great due to Orinoco River run-off. Also it seems like he only works part-time? I've no personal experience with them - my buddies dove with Manta on Tobago once. DIveTnT Chaguaramas Map Location Trinidad WI

in trinidad i dive with Ricks Dive world.. (diving in trinidad is not beautiful coral reefs and blue water.. so if your looking for that, head over to tobago)

best way to get to tobago is by plane as its the shortest

the cheapest way (but takes about 3 hours is by ferry)

if you make it to tobago you can dive with blue waters inn for all the frills, if you just want simple laid back diving you can dive with redmans dive shop (i usually dive with redman as i'm local lol) both are located in speyside. you can also dive extra divers if you want they have two locations (speyside and crown point) that offers very different types of diving (on either side of the island)...

Hi. I'm traveling to Trinidad soon. Have been diving in Tobago, but was thinking of trying out Rick's in Chaguaramas this time. What did you end up doing during your stay? And would you recommend it?
