Seaweed... a line wrapped around is much better... most fishermen are not smart enough to have a line cutter on the prop. .

Be careful....

Guy's lucky it wasn't some commando from nearby NAS Key West, or he might have gotten himself C4'd into oblivion... :rofl3:

Actually the Special Forces combat diver school is in the area as well.. I would have been more concerned if it had been one of their guys... they are real serious types sometimes.. lol...

You can say ass on SB.

Thanks DandyDon! Ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass...Oddly I feel better now.

I would expect special forces combat divers to be a little more level headed in a situation like this.

All this talk about "how I would have given the guy and ass kicking" or "I would have blown up his boat with C4" makes me wonder if there is a fisherman's forum out somewhere with comments like "if there was a diver in my fishing spot, I would have swam down there and cut her air hose" or "I would have dropped some depth charges"

I agree that he should get what's coming to him, and especially, like one suggestion a while back that his boat should be taken away, but lets keep it in perspective.

Time to strap on my Mike Nelson pig sticker again

I get Moderated when I suggest retaliation, even tho joking.

Actually retaliating is like throwing gasoline on a fire. Sue the bastard and get his boat.

Don I was only suggesting carrying the big knife to cut the line:wink:

I agree. Probably won't be able to get attempted manslaughter or reckless endangerment but sue him and take his fishing license away. I have friends who spearfish and have been on sites first before with a dive flag on the boat and they had fisherman drop thier lines on them. Could she have cut the line to prevent the rapid assault ascent? This is kind of stuff that really pisses me off with some fisherman, just go to another spot. :banghead: I'm glad she turned out ok and didn't get hurt.
