So I moved from Michigan to ct about a dozen years ago. Mothballed my gear because the local waters are less than desirable , then just got caught up in life. Life moves pretty fast here and I lost track of my priorities.
Last year I Walked into the.semi local lds with my 1986 sp mk5 109 air2 setup and he told me from 15 feet away to throw it away and start new...needless to say, I walked out and didn't look back. Could tell right away the priority was profit, not service.
Then went to my very local LDS not an sp dealer. He was on vacation and the employee couldn't help me with details to picking out a good package and pricing it. Mostly the pricing part. Owner will cut deals and employee can't.
Anyway, anxious to get a working setup I caved to some special deals from leisure pro before he got back. I really should have waited. This guy takes care of his peeps. Never overcharges. Often undercharges. And just loves to have fun.

The biggest problem I have is that he takes 6 to 8. Organized dive trips each year so it's often difficult to catch him in the shop.

So my weight belt um shrunk over the years. Instead of charging me he gave me the webbing and asked me to drop my old one off for his rental fleet.
