I have just purchased a Mares Drak interface for my Puck Air. I have installed the software and upgraded it to the latest version. When I open it, it asks me which model I have and I select the Puck. When I plug the interface into the USB port, a green light comes on. When I set the Puck Air to PC and plug the module into the port, the light turns red - but the software does not recognise that the Puck is connected. When I try the download option, I get a warning message saying that the interface isn't configured or connected properly. I've tried plugging, unplugging and rebooting without success. Any idea on how to get the Puck to start downloading?

Thanks!

An update.... I have managed to get the software to recognise the interface but when I press OK to start the download process, the application freezes until the puck eventually shuts itself down. No data is downloaded. Thoughts?

A clarification: the computer is just a regular Puck (part of my Mission Puck 3 Console) not a Puck Air.

I'm in the same boat with Mares Puck, Drak 1.5.0 Windows XP. I did every thing they said on the support site but nothing changed. That was a lot of money for red and green LED's which is about the only thing this interface appears to do.

Alpha, I'm not sure what the problem is. The drak interface has been working with no problems. I just recently did a new Puck on my computer and everything was plug and play. No issues. Perhaps you can take it to your point of purchase for some help? If you notice the posts prior to yours are 2 years old and all issues have been resolved, at least to my knowledge.

It was purchased online. I can tell you that the hardware seems to be ok (it works fine with the demo copy of DivingLog 5.0). It also works fine on another computer but unfortunatly not the one I would like to use.

Maybe this is your Problem;

This is the latest download for your puck - uninstall your cd software and try this out(follow the instruction on how to connect the interface and Puck)
DRAK 1.5.0 Full Setup

Hope that helps others how have the old software.
