Hi

I work with a production company here. We film clients in the cenotes.

The reason people are wearing only one tank is that they're open water divers.

It's permitted to dive in the Caverns (cenotes) on an open water certification as long as the guide is full cave trained and there's no more than 4 people in the dive group (exluding the guide). They cannot penetrate any more than 60m from open water into the cavern zone.

Some of the cenotes afford us good placement of 'open water' in the form of air domes or sink holes so as we can penetrate further lineage giving the feeling of cave penetration.
