For me,diving means exploration, the underwater is another world, mysterious, dark,so,is it that what attracts most divers for diving?
And which are the best places to dive? Water here is very muddy.

You're from China? Where in China? Near the coast, I'll bet, if you're a diver :D
Not far from China, one nice place to dive where the water isn't dark is Thailand.
Another nearby place a lot of Chinese dive shops organize regular trips to is the Philippines.

The Philippines is a regular destination for chinese divers. You may want to investigate the Philippine Paradise Divers (PPD) forum for details on the sites, travel, accommodation and dive operations available there.

Greetings Even and it probably is vacation activity or adventure.
For me it was many things but most of all it was a dream I had as a kid and a shared activity with my wife.
What happened once I accomplished OW was entirely a shock to everyone even myself.
I fell in love with weightlessness and obsessed with diving as a whole!
I found myself moving forward into more advanced dives and training accordingly.
Many goals that I have set I have attained and continue to set more goals.

Diving has brought the adventure and dreams back into my life!
It can be a very addictive life style if you let it take over, which is hard for some of us.
Diving is as big as you want it to be.
What do I mean by that? Well there are so many different types, styles, levels, to achieve not to mention gear configurations.
There really is no end to the training, experimentation and trials.
Everyone can decide when they have had enough and what type of diver they wish to be. Simple awesome in my book.

Enjoy what ever type of diving you embrace and dive safe to the best of your ability!

CamG keep diving....keep training....Keep learning!

For me its the exploration and adventure. I used to imagine floating around weightless on an alien landscape exploring new frontiers and finding weird and wonderful things. Nowadays I can do it for real by driving over to the sea and jumping in :D

Three reasons for me:
1) I love the water
2) I have always wanted to fly
3) I used to want to be an astronaut, but it was too expensive...now I'm a tech diver ;)

I think for me it would be the exploration of seeing something new. But then again, I'd have to say that Whenever a Cousteau special came on the TV, It had my interest.

I guess I've always had an interest in the underwater world.

Even though you have a buddy with you it is hard to talk with a reg in your mouth. I find it quiet and peaceful. It is my escape to another world.

what attracts me to diving? I can't put it into words. Sometimes I'm on the surface in 45F water thinking WTF am I doing... then I tell myself I'm happy once I'm under just do it. Like running, just put my asics on a go ya big baby... Maybe it's a zen thing.
