Here's a thought, if you don't like the thread don't read it.
If I had a dollar for every time you complained about a thread I'd be a very wealthy woman.
because obviously spiking trees is a horrible thing ?
... is that because they risk lives, or what?
I'm not seeing the difference here
By international law, the take of whales is prohibited.
Watson is the only "cop" in the antarctic that I know of and though radical, has made a difference in ocean awareness, which is a boon to ecologists and ocean lovers throughout the world.
If you want to worry about something, worry about the mass of plastic debris the size of Texas floating in the middle of the Pacific ocean. Or maybe the billions of gallons of oil purged by BP which will create irreversible damage to the Atlantic and its outlying coastlines!
By international law, the take of whales is prohibited. Japan is breaking a world wide law knowing that it is near impossible to uphold this law due to location and lack of manpower. Watson is the only "cop" in the antarctic that I know of
What Japan is doing is not illegal, immoral yes but not illegal. They are using the fact that they are legally allowed to take whales under the guise of research.
Watson is not a "cop", he is an off the wall vigilante, he is not enforcing any law, just his personal belief. He's a "true believer", like the guys that bomb abortion clinics.
So the Japanese are using a "guise" but still being legal? That doesn't make a bit of sense.
