Louisville has a coach they might be interested in.

well it's all a moot point now...

Meyer couldn't handle quitting. After he said he was resigning..... he has now decided that he will be back to coach and is now just taking a leave of absence.

Until he returns... Offensive coordinator Steve Addazio will be interim coach.

what will happen next? :dontknow:

According to http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/colleges/story/1399884.html?asset_id=1399573&asset_type=gallery
Meyer has an arachnoid cyst on his brain, which can become inflamed from stress or excitement. When inflamed, the cyst has caused Meyer considerable pain.

not SEC, but another coach bites the dust....

Texas Tech just fired Mike Leach. (he was on suspension for abusing a player, locking him in a dark room, etc)

I wonder if he gets fired if this happens to anyone other than Craig James's son?

I was wondering if they were scared of EPSN critics.

personally I think that would very unprofessional of Craig James to even comment about it on the air. But all networks hire some real dumb-asses all the time.

Other reports by other players say that James kid wouldn't work hard at practice anyway....

I've never seen a football coach produce a winning team by holding their hand and crying with them.... those that need that usually join the band. sounds like his kid did also. but I'm not sure I agree with locking the kid in a dark room. make him do "cut-a-ways", grab lines, run laps, etc if he's a whiner.

Here's one of the reports I saw about James kid....

Several former and current Texas Tech players and coaches defended Leach and harshly criticized James' work ethic in e-mails obtained by CBSSports.com.

Among those were former Texas Tech wide receiver Eric Morris, who wrote that James was "never known as a hard worker" and "seemed to have a negative attitude toward the football program the majority of the time."

I have alot of FSU friends so I offer the following thoughts. Who would have thought FSU would be starting out the new year with the best coach? :dontknow: Arrggg!!!

I'm sure there will be appeals

I just read that his contract had in it that if he was still coach on Dec31 that he got a $800k bonus.

looks to me that they wanted to avoid the issue and not have to pay that either.

How long was the player locked into the room? Sorry!
