Yesterday, about 8 miles SW of Frying Pan Tower, off of the NC coast....... Current was a ripping 6.7 knots....... not a type O.

Never been in current this bad before......

I did 3 dives, Army man, hand over hand down the anchor and on the bottom....... looked like a flag in 50 mph winds on the hang..... um, no deco

Current 6.7k average GPS and stopwatch both..... I know
Vis.... 1 = 12' 2 = 22' 3 = 34'
Temp top was 82 on top, 66 and 67 on bottom....... 5 mil

Did I mention the ripping current....... Think I will pass on that current speed again.

Can't walk upright today...... have sore muscles everywhere... hurts to think.....

Coal River between the falls. My mother was visiting a friend and lost her new glasses off the deck and into the river. I searched the bottom for almost an hour in poor visibility but I guess the current had carried them away by the time I got out there and into the water.

Max depth: 15 feet.
Temp.: warm
Current: app. 1 knot, give or take.

Afternoon boat just my wife and I plus the DM. Did a drift dive although very little current.. Nice!
Saw the largest ever trumpet fish at least twice as big as I have ever seen. This guy was at least 5 feet long and 8 inches wide. A very pretty bluish color.
Morning dives were at Alice in Wonderland.
Beatiful scenic reefs. Viz is starting to decline though. Down to about 50 feet at one point.

Another flood caused by another user error... :banghead:
