Really love that you caught the iridescence in the cardinal fins on pic#1, and the depth of field on your last shot is pretty damn awesome too.

Some of my images are a bit more than just snap shots.. remember I do a lot of large prints.. so some are.. well staged. Sometimes something minor.. sometimes a bit more...in the brittlestar's case, I put it there (sorry)...I went and found one (took some digging) and then put it in a spot for dramatic lighting...I feel so cheap for having done that)...

This might explain it better....

I've noticed that sometimes images that look good on a screen suck when you print them.. and the opposite..not sure what is going on with that.

Outstanding pictures as always. I am really surprised how good the conditions were on Sunday.

They were very good... but I can get sharp, clean images in 10 ft of vis...just from not that far away...

The photos are very nice. What's the problem with the 110a strobes?

Nothing, except I don't have them....the 110's have an issue with sensitivity to the in camera flash.. results in them turning on, but not turning off during the preflash ...the 110a fixed that. I get about 1 in 10 to 1 in 20 over exposed flash shots ...

Hey Jim, awesome as usual.

I love the flounder shot - did my first spear fishing trip off OC, MD this past weekend, got 4 keepers.
This pic was a great way for me to show Maureen and Alex what hunting these was really like,
except without a flash at 70' in overcast conditions...

Great pictures!

Man, I'm really wanting to get an underwater camera, just nothing big or expensive (anything over 200 or 300 is expensive for me.) like the G10.
