Anyone know what shop NCL uses?

My wife and I are going to the Bahamas (Nassau) onboard NCL. For one of my days ashore I am going out to do a "shark dive". I was wondering if anyone had done this thru the cruise line recently and possibly know either a) the approx. depth, or b) the Dive opperators name so that i can call them myself and ask what the depth is. I am doing a couple deep dives the day before and am just kinda anal and would like to run the tables first before I even think of packing my gear for the trip.

Stuart Cove?s Dive Bahamas Scuba Diving Nassau Bahamas Best Snorkeling Adventures

I was just on a 3 day NCL cruise. I signed up for diving with NCL. They use Stuart's Cove. Another person on the boat signed up with Stuart's Cove direct and paid the same. At Stuarts Cove, I meet someone who had been there all week and had been diving with Bahama Dive (I might have the name wrong) out of Paradise Island. She told me that Stuarts Cove was much better.

It's Bahama Divers - the other diveop on Nassau. Both get mixed reviews. BD is located by Paradise Island - from what I recall - much closer to the cruise port. But they leave at 8:30 so due to customs clearance you may miss the boat. Cove's is on the south side of New Providence - about a 45 min ride - but they shuttle you over. Cove's does the shark dive for the cruise lines at one of two sites, the deeper one is Shark Arena, it's about 50'. http://stuartcove.com/DiveBahamasMgmt.aspx?id=2&pageId=51

Bahama Divers dont do a shark dive.
They are based just over the PI bridge, on New Providence Island. (New Providence is the Isle; Nassau, the capital; Pi= Paradise Island, is just off New Providence......over said bridge. S'really easy....once you're here!)

Whilst i've never cruised and dived here, i've share'd time with many who have with Coves.
You'll be pretty much left on your own recognizance unless you require assistance/ advice here.
More normally, the first dive is off (over) the wall. Floor -6500'. so dont go all the way down......

The actual "Shark Feed" (second dive of two) is a static 45' max (Less, if it's a quiet one (not too many people) and held on the "Ray Of Hope"). You're dives the day before would have to be WILD ON A STICK!?!?! to worry you cumulatively. Watch you're first here dive though if you're really worried. Talk to Mark(from the isle of man) or Chris (the photographer) at Coves if you're really worried. They're "Tech" and know many wonderful scuba secrets!

If you do go with Bahama Divers (for a non shark dive). Look to speak with Collie. Collie just know's everything about everything and is quiet possibly the most descent person on the face of the planet. (JMHO )
