So, i`ve bought from a friend his computer and now i have few questions.

1: How do i change owner name?
2: How do i change owner info?
3: How do i reset divelog and factory settings ?
4: Is there a way to make the Light more blueish?
5: Is there anything i should know about it...beside reading the manual ?

Thanks!

1: Sync the dive computer with your PC using the Uwatec software and change the info in there. You will need a computer with a infrared port. If you don't have one just head to your local computer parts dealer and get a USB IR device for like $9.99. Scuba Pro also sells a kit to add a USB IR port.

2: Same as above

3: I'm not sure if you can delete the dive log from the computer itself but you can reset the factory settings by using the menu on the dive computer.

4: No

5: reading the manual will tell you all you can do with it. It's like any other computer, tells you the general dive info but it has a lot of other cool features. Read the manual or take it in to a local Scuba Pro dealer and ask for some help.

When my wife and I purchased ours last summer they didn't come with them. Scuba Pro sells the IR kit at some high insane price. We just went to Comp USA and picked up a USB IR adapter for like $10.00.

On Vista the OS detected the IR port and it worked like a charm. I can't say if XP has the device drivers built in but I'm sure they do.

It's really easy to sync, open the software on your PC, put your dive computer up to the IR and the software gets its connection.

I have a feeling that you can't delete the Dive Log without contacting Scuba Pro. If the computer was present during a diving accident it would allow someone to erase the evidence of the dive.

A Scuba Pro dealer or Scuba Pro them self may clear the log for you.

CANT delete any dives...warranty and liability issues. As for MAC..forget!! I tried for DAYS....go borrow someones PC it's the only way
